Punch or poke holes in the threading rabbit and have your child lace/thread through the holes with yarn.
 
Use the sewing pattern rabbit to have your child use different colors of thread and sew onto the rabbit following the pattern lines.  
 
Can also trace the paper templates onto fabric, craft foam or felt and have your child sew or lace those.
