Homophones are words that sound the same but have different meanings.
Cut out these homophone bees and either place them on a table or hide them in a sensory play tray of dried quinoa or dyed yellow rice.
Have your child find the homophone pairs and use them in a sentence.
Have your child practice spelling the different homophones on the blank bee cards.
You can also glue or tape the bees to sticks or craft sticks and have your child hold up the corresponding bee, as you read a sentence from the included cards or make up your own sentences or passges using homophones.
The included line cards are for your child to make and write their own sentences using a given or found homophone.
